Seaholm student posing for a picture after graduation

Dear Seaholm Community,

After a successful year, we are ready for a restful and well-deserved summer! We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the graduating Class of 2026. We wish them all the best as they move forward and find success beyond Seaholm High School.

As we prepare for next year, we have to inform you of some changes to the Counseling Department for the 26-27 school year. Unfortunately, due to district cuts, we are saying goodbye to our longstanding Counseling Secretary, Mrs. Balow, as well as our newest counselor, Ms. Wolf. While they will be transitioning to other roles within the district, we are sad to see them leave our department and Seaholm. Their dedication and care have made a lasting impact, and they will be deeply missed by students and staff alike.

The Counseling Office is closed during the summer and does not monitor voicemail or email. Our counselors will return during the week of August 17th, and will be present to meet with students on both days of registration, which are being held on August 18th & 19th. Please note that summer email and phone communication from our office will not be available between June 22nd – August 17th due to no longer having a Counseling Secretary.

In the meantime, we’ve developed a list of Frequently Asked Questions to help guide you while the counseling office is closed for the summer. Please click the link below to review.

Wishing you and your family a happy, healthy, and relaxing summer!

Schedule Change Request Form
Students MUST complete the 26-27 Schedule Request Form. Counselors will look into these requests upon their return in August, and they will be prioritized based on date of submission. Requests made by phone or email will NOT be prioritized over this form. In addition, students will have the first three days (8/31 - 9/02) of the school year to see us in person for a schedule adjustment.   https://forms.gle/QC4qtVUkZhKKK5pT6

Welcome!

The counseling department at Seaholm assists all students in successfully navigating high school by addressing their personal, social, academic, and career objectives. Our goal is to aid students in developing self-awareness and finding their unique path after graduation.

We provide both group and individual counseling to help students overcome personal obstacles, choose courses that align with their post-secondary goals, explore and make decisions regarding suitable college and career options, eliminate barriers to ensure equal access to post-secondary institutions, and connect with community resources for success in high school and beyond.
